Roast and a little Brett. Some lemon. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Bitter finish with only a hint of tang. Bretta just a hint, which is great for a stout. Cool stuff.

Rich cherry aroma. Clear reddish copper pour. Some lime. Great Flanders red. Tart finish but not super acidic.

Haskap berry is pretty tart here. A little astringency as well. Murky ruby pour without much head. Tart and kind of a raspberry seed astringency at the end. Tap at brewery.

Notes from FHF 2022 (Aug 06, 2022): Ruby red with small pink head. Very oak forward, mild haskap and tartness. Decent, but the oak ultimately hides the rest of the beer here.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a bizarre mix of earthy coffee, oaky wood, and a touch of tart citrus. Flavour is quite tart, with plenty of citrus, which is then cut down by the earthy coffee grounds, and some gentle bugs. That's an odd flavour combo that somehow works very well. Coffee-ish, tart, and buggy finish. Nice stuff.
