First sample I tried from this new brewery a few days ago. Tonight, had with food there. Now rating from the can. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a white cap and decent lace. Some sweet nose from the yeast and hints of bananas from the wheat. Light grasses. The taste shows a little more hops with nice bitterness. Slight dryness in the mouthfeel. Good citrus fruits all-around. Nice in a can, but much preferred the version on tap at the bar. Would have this anytime.

The North East IPAs are suppose to be juicy... and this is just what this one is. Cloudy golden, white cap, good stay and some foamy lacing. Grapefruit juice nose, but not too hoppy, nor too zesty. Nicely mild. The taste is citrus juices with just a nice hoppy finish. Says oats in the ingredients on the can, and it feels quite smooth. Pretty close to their American Oat Pale Ale because of this... and as delicious. Juicy deliciousness.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on the opening week. Pours a cloudy golden colour with amber highlights, a white head and nice lacing. Loads of citrus notes in the aromas (orange, grapefruit). Same for the taste, with no crazy bitterness (the oats helping here). A mild dryness in the finish. A very well-balanced pale with the citrus, but with the smoothness of the oats. Quite enjoyed this one.

On tap at the brewery, as just a week old. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a warm cap and a little lace. Hoppy nose for a bitter, but all very mild. Mild watery caramel at first, which is fine for the style. Then, grassy burnt hops show up with hints of nuts, in the finish. Can't say I am a fan of the hops used here (or the amount), but still a decent session brew overall.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a small orange hue. Nice white top with good retention and creamy lacing. Not completely filtered with lots of nice particles through it. Fresh hoppy aromas with grassy notes and citrus zest. The taste also has nice fresh hops, but not overloads. Herbal and zesty again. An easy-drinking IPA with lots of nice fruitiness. Just not sure about the West Coast title, as not a hopbomb. As an IPA, it is quite delicious.
