This stout poured a deep dark red colour with a creamy, light tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, black cherry and tobacco. First swig was creamy and delicious. Festive flavoured with tastes of cocoa, vanilla, smoke, spice and black cherry. Finish is quite burnt with flavours of fruitcake lingering.

Clean, light golden colour with a big creamy, warm-whitish head, good retention and some nice lacing left. Big sour nose with some nice fruity aromas. The fruits continue in the taste with guava, passion fruit and gooseberry flavours. Dry-hopped so sourness lingers, but not thick and fairly dry. Quite easy to drink, for such a sour brew.

Clean, darker brown colour with copper highlights, a nice frothy warm,-beige head, good stay and some light lacing. Soapy-hop aromas over the roasted-chocolate malt base, with mild pumpkin spices. Hints of coffee and molasses. The mouthfeel is not too thick with decent dryness. The spices come out a little more in the taste, not overpowering, but blending well with the coffee-burnt barley. A good, lighter pumpkin porter brew.

A reddish brown porter with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light pumpkin spices, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light cinnamon and cloves, ok. On tap at Corner Bar, Orleans.

Cloudy, bright light-golden colour with a nice creamy white cap, good retention and some dirty-creamy lacing. Fresh crushed apple with cinnamon blended and some sourness. Hints of wood and vanilla. Quite sour in the taste with the apples going to the background, and the spice even more. Some big particles do come out halfway. The oats and sugars lingers and softens the finish. Sourness does linger still. One of the better, interesting brews of this 6-pack winter collection. Fresh!

Clean copper brown colour with an amber highlight. The warm beige frothy head, average retention and some light lacing spots. Roasted and chocolate malt nose with some grassy hops. It seems like more roasted malts than chocolate one, or notes. This gives a light dark fruit flavours with the hops lingering. A decent Porter, but was expecting more chocolate malts and cacao powder - so, not so chocolaty.

Clean (gets a touch hazy later) amber colour with a light-beige head that stays a bit and some foamy lacing spots are left. Dark fruit, caramel, nuttiness, apples and alcohol for aromas. The taste shows a lot of the same with decent dryness in the end, a touch of bitterness. All is nicely balanced in here, and just like the stronger alcohol beers in this pack, seems quite mild all-around. This 9% ABV should be richer, but I am not complaining. One of the easiest Wee Heavy to drink.
