On tap at the northern Ontario beerfest. Murky amber/brown pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is hop cones, fresh hop pellets, and malt concentrate. There is an odd burnt, sharp, brown sugar with more malt concentrate and hop pellets. This tastes like some homebrew I made with an extract kit years ago. Not good.

Can from the lcbo. Slightly cloudy hazy pour, with a medium white head. Aroma has some nice coffee notes with subtle pine, and grasses. Mouth feel is good, carb is solid. Light to medium bitterness, and old school resinous ipa with coffee notes.

Can. Hazy orange pour, small white head. Aroma is butter, and quite sweet, no hops, and some caramels malts. Thick, oily mouthfeel, low carb. Finish is cloying, and zero bitterness with more sweet caramels, and no hops. This was rough.

Clean, dark brown colour with ruby-copper highlights, a nice big warm-beige frothy head, good retention and good lacing left. Beautiful aromas of nuts (more like hazelnuts), caramel, coffee and some raspberries blending the fruitiness. The taste shows a little more the berries upfront, but the peanuts catch up to balance this. Not as powerful as the nose, so you get the roasted malts as base. Not too thick in the mouthfeel, so almost a Schwarzbier that goes down nicely. I really enjoy brew that I have been trying to find for a while. Nice to bring it back in their mix pack.

This sour poured a hazy, light yellow colour with a huge, fizzy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include flowers, lemon citrus, honey and hay. First swig was pleasant and not over the top sour. Flavours of citrus, apple juice and hops. Finish is lightly acidic with mild apple juice and hop bitterness lingering.
