Listed at 10% ABV. and written on sticker, Wild Boston - fût de scotch #2. Bottled 2017-06-22. Pours a hazy amber colour with light mocha-coloured head, good stay and some nice creamy lacing. Balsamic vinegar aromas with a bunch of red apples. Hints of wood, hops and vanilla. The scotch appears in the taste, in the finish. Some oak over the sourness, and lots of fruitiness. This one is quite interesting, definitely worth trying and very well-blended.

Bouteille 500 ml.

Not sure if they took this one and created a normal bottle - American Brown Ale (which shows 5% ABV. and 33 IBU) as the pic I took. Pours a hazy copper colour with amber highlights. The head is crazy big, too long lasting, beige, super thick creamy-foamy lacing... but yeah, too much carbonation. Smell of roasted malts, yeast, fruitiness and hints of molasses. The taste shows coffee notes, fruitiness and better balanced hops adding a nice dryness in the finish. Decent overall, but not one I would go back to.

Quite an interesting brew to say the lease. Not sure what to make of this. A tripel infused with cold coffee ?! Hazy golden colour with lots of carbonation creating a big fluffy light off-white coloured head, very long lasting with chunks of thick foamy lace. The high IBU (at 97) adds the green leaf to the smell over bitterness from mild coffee. It is kind of weird, with hints of sourness (but no Brett in this one - finally). Almost burnt wood, weird ?! The brew is pretty bitter for a Belgian Tripel style. Takes over the yeast and other characteristics of the style. Alcohol well-hidden by the hops, same for the coffee flavours. Yeah, not sure what to make of this.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on my 2017 Quebec Beer Run. Listed at 4.5% ABV. Hazy golden colour with a white cap and decent lacing. Aromas are nicely blended between the citrus notes and some fresh grassy hops. Grapefruit taste, but not too dry. Nice bitterness and smooth finish. Light grain lingers. A crisp and easy-drinking APA.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on my 2017 Quebec Beer Run (with the poutine as seen in my picture). Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white fizzy head and a little lace. Tropical fruits scent with orange notes. Mild yeast tartiness in the mouthfeel. A mix of tropical fruits in the taste as well, with a little sourness in the middle. An interesting fruity Weiss beer.
