650 ml bottle. Pours a very clear copper color with light head. Aromas of pine, tropical fruit, rubber and sweet malts. Flavors of bitter citrus peel, pine, toffee, and dry toasted malts. Not sure why the other ratings are so low. No vegetal notes in this one. A nice clean IIPA albeit in a category where there are many other similar offerings.

Tasting at Mattβs
Reddish amber color, frothy irregular head. Strong Ale, lean body (not too sweet), strong bitterness, but it has a strong vegetable component, tomatoes and beans.
Bold but messy.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings earthy hop notes and some biscuity notes. Flavour is dry, bringing out earthy hops, dry spiciness, and biscuity malt to back. No sweetness, which is nice, but this is bizarre and not very thriling. Not good.

Draft - Dark roast and light coffee bean. Deep brown black with a decent light brown head. Roasty and lots of coffee bean. A bit thin on the palate but flavours are nice.

On tap at Tap & Barrel Coal Harbour, pours a clear bronze with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and some vegetal notes. Flavour is very vegetal but not in too detracting a way, with other notes of bready malt. Simple beer. Not so good.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with a red shade. Cornbread and butter aroma, mild. Soft mouthfeel, light residual sweetness, nit much flavor; it has a very light impression if cherry, surpassed by a light butter presence.
It seems simple but not bad; but it has the diacetyl flaw. Iβm willing to try it again.

Beautiful amber color, clean, with small head. Aroma of refined sugar, vegetables, metallic. Dry mouthfeel; simple caramel flavor with a hint of vegetables and iron (tomato); no discernible hop quality, and a metallic finish.
Vulgar.
