750mml bottle. Tasted on the 24/12/2017 at Vegadeo. Clear golden colour with no head and a fizzy body. Aroma of apples, sugar and sweet candy. Taste of sweet apples, and wood. Funky finish. Next one please!

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light sour apple and light white sugar. Taste is light sweet, faintly meaty. Sweet apple finish.

75cl bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury, shared with Soph whilst walking the dog. Pours a misty orange. Aroma is on the sweet, fruity side. Taste has a moderate to high sweetness with a sour tang. Sweet fruity character seems to build a bit and get a bit sickly making hard to finish by the end. Not the best Spain has to offer.

El Gaitero, bottle 0.7l, alc 4.1%, pours bright cleanr golden with a minimal white head. Aroma of green apples. Zure groene appels, fris en sulfiet, schenkt helder en wat sprankelend gouden zonder kraag, dmaak als aroma, medium zoet, licht, redelijk prikkelende co2, iets aan de te zure kant. Laten rijpen is wrs beter ?

Bottle from a supermarket in Benasque. Aroma is earthy, apples, a bit woody. Taste is woody, nutty, natural apples, a bit phenolic. High effervescent carbonation. Good stuff!

Bottle from a supermarket in Benasque. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is apples, mealy apple skin, quite tart and earthy, straightforward. Taste is natural apples, earthy, but surprisingly sweet, with quite some vanilla notes. Soft but present effervescent carbonation. Solid, albeit a bit sweet - it feels natural, though. Interesting.

Sulphite, wood, sweet, some sour notes taste is pretty sweet, nice green and sweet apples,very slightly acidic, sweet taste, bottle from 2013/2014 tasted in 2017, pretty nice.
