Bottle from Al Campo. Hazy light yellow coloured, with fast disappearing white bubbles. Nose is sour apple, acidic, a bit of phenolic. Flavour is sour apple, a bit tannic, some sweetness. Medium-high carbonation. Finish is sour.

330ml bottle. Sparkling clear golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity apple & woody oak . Taste is fizzy tangy apple, sweetish, with some acidity, tannin, and vanilla notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, light bodied, highly carbonated, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

Bottle 500ml. clear glass @ [ pre-TSODRBSG13 ], Ulfborg.Clear, sparkling, light to medium rose colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, red apples, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, fruity, apples, red apples, sugary. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is fizzy. [20130830]

330ml bottle from an off license in London. Fairly light in appearance with a spritzy body that fizzes on the tongue. Quite a thin taste for Spanish cider, moderately sweet with green apples and a very faint sour tang. Pleasant enough, but lacking character.

Pours clear pale yellow color with fizzy white head. Musty apple aroma. Sweet apple flavor with some mustiness and tartness. Light body with lively carbonation. Not bad @ $3.25 for 750ml.

As El Gaitero Sidra Spanish Cider from Waitrose in the UK. It’s the right ABV so I’m guessing it’s this. Pale gold clear thin layer of white bubbles. OK, so it’s not unpleasant but it is a little simple, some scrumpy apple flavour. Woody apple juice aroma. It’s ok, some woody tannins on the finish, a little sugary. It has some character, the woody tannins are good, but the sweet flavour and simple apple juice balance that. Too sweet but ok.
