A dense, well laced tan head on a dark brown body. The nose is all about the roasted coffee with a touch of cocoa. Fresh ground and well roasted coffee taste is deep and long-lasting. Touches of Chocolate and cocoa, toffee sweetness are all well in balance under the coffee lead. medium body and mouth feel are attributes for a 5.5% stout. Well done.

A fresh tropical fruit and citrus hop profile over an understated bready caramel malt body. A tasty take on the wcipa theme. Touches of soap and pepper, and some fruit rind in the finish round it out

On tap at Boswell, pours black with a small creamy tan head. Nose is dry, full of dark cocoa, molasses and toasted malt. Flavour is robust indeed, with dry cocoa, molasses, toasted malt and crusty bread. Very dry, with a dry cocoa-y finish. Pleasantly constructed.

On tap at Boswell, pours hazy dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma is very malty, with lots of caramel, toffee, bready malt, and a touch of maple. Flavour is much the same, with loads of caramel, toasted bready, dry toffee and a little maple. Big and malty, yet there's still some hops there and enough attenuation to reign in the sweetness. Not the most complex beers, especially for the ABV, but it's reasonable made.

On tap at 2015, pours a hazy copper with a medium beige head. Nose is full of butter — argh, that is not pleasant. Flavour is even more offensive, with all sorts of diacetyl that totally destroys this. There's a caramel malt character on the other side but it's a moot point. The diacetyl has destroyed this.

On tap at Boswell, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some oily pine, a touch of citrus tang, and bready malt. Flavour is somewhat strange, with a weird grainy, almost THP character that permeates. The Nelson doesn't come through all that well. Too grainy and blunted. Not very impressive.

On tap at Boswell, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite restrained, with light rustic farmhouse notes, some hay. Flavour is grainy and dry, with lots of rustic farmhouse character and dry toasted grains. There's not a lot of depth, but the dry, rustic character is pleasing. Drinkable, simple saison.

On tap at Boswell, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, hay, some herbal notes, and straw. Flavour is full of hay, herbal/floral notes and rustic saison yeast. A bit too herbal — I'm getting lavender — for me, but it's certainly clean and rustic. Pleasant.
