Can, Kuala Lumpur, Yebisu Premium All Malt Beer
Blond beer. Nothing special, but well balanced. Refreshing and acceptable.

Bottled, alc. 4.7%, label said Premium Lager, brewed in EU
Golden color, good steady white head. Sweet, a bit even an ale-like nose. Quite plain simple mouthfeel, sweetish rice flavor.

Can: Poured a clear golden colored beer with a pretty decent head with standard retention. Aroma is very weak, almost watery I should say. Taste is also quite watery and boring. I guess it would go well with the kind of spicy food where you loose all your taste buds. Taste is even worse when I notice that this is brewed by Sleeman at their Guelph facility.

Bottle. Very pale straw colored beer with a big white head. Aroma is not bad - some flowery essencse with a hint of hops. Very light flavor with lot of adjuncts, but there’s malt too. A slight herbal/spice flavor, but it’s light.

Pours yellow with a nice head. No real aroma. Taste is bland and dull. Way over priced. I guess you pay for the cool can.

Not the worst beer ever conceived by the fires of industry. This lubricant has a sweet and grainy corn flavor much like the "meat" of popcorn. Otherwise it’s your standard "pale lager," with a clear straw body and adjuncty aroma. Contract-brewed by Dow Chemical.

Canned. Very dark brown, beige head. Aroma of coffee and vegetables. Sweet with mellow body and metallic finish. Industrial.

Retained an excellent light brown head while giving off a fragrant nose of vegetal and chocolate. The body was light and espresso notes came into play, but the body was just slightly sour at the same time. The finish was chocolatey with a hint of the vegetal again. Not bad.

22 oz. can. Um, so this is “dry?” Really? There's a nice smell when you first flip the can tab, but it doesn't carry over into the taste. Less malt taste to come through, which makes me think of adjuncts. Sure enough, the taste is gone as soon as I swallow. I suppose it would go good with food, but so would an instant iced tea. “Draft” should imply that it’s filtered instead of pasteurized, but I get none of that here. Just barley water.

oh boy. When I think back, this beer dosent stand out much from ki-rin lager, another I used to drink with my sushi in rochester. A little bit more bite, and that tangy, old carbonated taste. Dosent leave the palette altogether horribly though. Some light, diluted hop taste present
