Draught at Q-Brick. 2009 version. It was a secret beer, and I swore it was an alt. Lovely reddish amber color. Fruity, caramel aroma. rounded, somewhat sweet, fruity flavor. Very ale-like. A nice beer, much better than from the can.

Draught. Lightly amber tinted golden color. Sweet malt is very well balanced by bitter noble hops. Not much hop aroma, but good bitterness. Much better fresh and on tap. Really a darn good major.

A light golden lager with a thick lacing egg white head. A rather grassy hops aroma with wild herbs and light nail polish. In mouth,a light biscuitty malt with smooth hopping, lighter nbodied, a bit of cardboard. 500 ml can from Japan, shared with probstk, thanks Karl.

Overall Impression: It's an OK, not very exciting pale lager from Japan, straw colored, and boring, but sometimes you just have to order one with Asian food.

Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A clear, slightly pale golden beer. Dms, grains and some hops in the aroma, not very good. Canβt say I like the flavor either, still dms and grains, and some hints of bitterness. Some bitterness in the finish too, still not much. Thin and dry mouthfeel. A poor beer, didnβt even find it quenching. (090517)

2009 Version. I think it is the same recipe. Nice, light amber color, orange tints. Looks good. Thick, foamy head. Aroma is basic Yebisu but with a bit more caramel and something slightly smoother. Palate also nicely smooth. Flavor has a bit of caramel sweetness, some depth. strong hop bitterness in the finish. Decent enough stuff, though not all that special.

Canned. Clear amber, rich head. Sourish and fruity. Light-mdeium bodied with plenty of tinny syrup. Some resiny hops are present, fur the most itβs stays meakly fruity and disharmonious.
