Can. Black with a light tan head. Aroma of mild roast and sweetened black coffee. So it tastes. No real finish. It really needed a little bitterness at the end but I guess it's supposed to be bland. Sound but dull.

Sapporo Yebisu Hop Terroir 5% Crystal clear mellow brass color with a thin white foam and a really nice herbal noble hop bouquet. Medium bodied, crisp and dry. Surprisingly solid lager with way more depth of flavor than I usually expect from these kind of brews from the Japanese majors. Worth trying for lager lovers.

FLN, ngl not too shabby, tasty clean upfront lager, great with fried rice.

Great with braised pork belly! Light lager mouthfeel with solid caramel light roast malt sweetness. It gets weird when it's no longer refreshingly cold though.

Can from Yamaya. Nice noble hop aroma, spicy, grassy, citrus and herbs, crisp, light malt. Cleat gold. Slightly sweet, malty, biscuits, lemon, grassy herbs. Nice hops, light to moderate bitterness. Crisp and fruity. Definitely more hops coming through that the usual. Nice stuff. Pretty hard to beat for an industrial lager.

Can from Japan Village: pours pale gold with white head. Aroma is light grain with hint of flowers. Taste is pretty clean, but utterly forgetable. Whatever, but would be a nice warm weather beer.

Light, malty, sweet. Not bad.

650ml can from Aldi, made in Vietnam, 5% ABV. Dark brown with a good inch of beige head. Aroma of mild roast, mocha, light spices. 6+ Not very sweet and fairly gently flavoured, but with a distinct roasted note and lightly spiced bitterness that lingers. Definitely have this again - a rare Aldi surprise packet.
