Clean golden with a white head. Some definite spicy hop notes. Clean. Simple overall but with pleasant hop bite. I’d snag this on the regular if I could.

Can from Family Mart. On the pricy side--almost ¥300. Bright, floral and herbal noble hop nose, spicy, slightly lemony, with biscuity, crackery malt underneath. Deep gold reaching to amber with a thick, medium head. Rich malt, bready and not overly sweet. Floral hops flavor is lovely, with a nicely bitter finish making it crisp despite a medium to full, smooth body. Possibly my favorite Yebisu ever. I really feel I am drinking a fresh Export in Germany.

Can. Amber with a fast fading white head. 3- Aroma of apples, caramel, grains, some citrus. More convincingly malty upon a swig, with a brief bready richness before a moderately bitter finish. OK.

Fell for the happoshu again, it seems. Clear golden pour with a white head which dissapears quickly. Aromas of malt, faint lemon. Tastes of grain, malt with a hint of citrus fruit. Ok, but not mindblowing.

Pretty much as advertised. A macro lager, but with more hops than usual.

Rough as guts. Not much more to say.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber with little white head. Aroma is grainy with citrus notes. Light body with lively carbonation. Taste has balance of sweetness, tartness and some bitterness. Pretty reasonable.

Clear, golden pour with a thin white head, aromas of malt with a hint of citrus, taste is pretty much similar. It is a standard lager (ok, but not memorable) and indeed at the cheaper end in supermarkets.

Clear golde pour with a white head (which is quite short-lived). Aromas of malts and grains. Taste is on the weaker side: malts, grains, some hops and citrus/lemon. Ok as a beverage, but nothing memorable.

Clear Yellow pour with a white, lasting pour, standard aromas of malt and grain, taste of malt grain, some citrus and grass/hay, sessionable and refreshing.
