Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with some nice tropical fruit notes also noticeable. Taste is a refreshing mix of tropical fruit notes with some citrusy notes and some light bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is about average with great carbonation. Very solid IPA thought maybe not the best from this series.

Pours a mild hazy, light bright golden colour, with a frothy white head, good retention and thick foamy lacing. Beautiful, fresh citrus zest with some nice Belgian Ale yeast. Seems like the lime zest helps the orange one being balanced. The loads of fruits, mostly citrus are also in the taste, but not too bitter and not too dry. The fruit lingers on the tongue, but quite refreshing overall. This is an expensive bottle, but really worth it. A great, fresh, fruity IPA.

Pours a hazy amber with golden highlights. The head is quite nice, light-beige, creamy, long lasting and giving lots of lacing. Nice grassy hop aromas with a grainy caramel base, hay and citrus notes. The taste has citrus zest but the mouthfeel is not really dry. Wet really, making the heavier body kind of refreshing. Orange notes with the grapefruit peel. Quite a nice second bottled brew from Gainsbourg.

Found in a small convenient store in Hull, QC. Pours a very slight hazy golden colour with a frothy-creamy white head, good retention and some soapy lacing. Beautiful fresh Simcoe hop aromas. The taste is less grassy, but some grapefruit zest creating a little tart on the tongue. Some bitterness, and dryness is mild (or well-blended) all around. Not too crazy but there for sure. Goes down nicely for a 7% ABV brew. Pretty nice for their first bottled beer.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and slight lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt and light toffee notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of a caramelized malt with light toffee and light residual sugar and a thin finale. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not bad but doesn’t have some of the complexity I would usually associate with the style.

Taste is a mix of light caramel malt notes with some citrusy and resin hops notes with some bitter ness on the aftertaste. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable IIPA but does not have as much floral notes as the regular IPA.
