Olfactif aux accents céréaliers et légèrement caramélisés s’accompagnant de houblons terreux et feuillus bien en évidence. La mousse est généreuse crémeuse et persistante. La couleur est cuivrée et le liquide partiellement voilé est muni d’une remarquable effervescence. Les houblons terreux feuillus et herbacés accaparent la majorité de la palette gustative. Le profil céréalier demeure faible et l’aspect sucré des malts assure une très légère toile de fond. Quelques esters viennent compléter la palette mais la majorité de l’action se passe dans l’amertume intense. La carbonatation est trop vive mais on pardonne cet écart dû au conditionnement en cannette. Le corps est assez douillet malgré tout. O : Fruits noirs, pruneaux, raisins secs, base légèrement caramélisée et un peu de poivre malgré que les phénols soient assez restreints. V : Ambrée foncée, bien limpide avec une mousse beige, moyennement épaisse qui persiste également moyennement. G : Fruité, caramélisé, légèrement épicé en bouche avec une finale bien terreuse. Notes de pruneaux, de caramel léger, d’un peu de poivre. Houblons terreux en abondance qui nous donnent une finale un peu âpre avec quelques épices et un alcool retenu. C : Le corps est assez rond, l’alcool bien intégré et la carbonatation toujours déficiente comme toutes les Nord-Américaines de ce style. On tap at L'Espace Public, pours a filthy, opaque, peachy, milky yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma is muted, with lacto and subdued mango pith. Flavour is filthy and yeast, with a very filthy, yeast, dirty mouthfeel. The mango is there but it's buried beneath that filthy yeasty palate. What the hell is this supposed to be? Incompetent beer.
