Oct 2023 rating: On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear blonde, no head. Aroma reveals gentle fresh hops, apple skins, and a hint of soapy floral notes. Flavour is fresh and floral, with soapy floral notes, apple skins, and a hint of sweetness. Doughy, floral finish. Aroma is fairly strong on the hops, with citrus and apples. Flavour is very juicy and moderately hoppy, with harsh citrus hops and dry apples. 22oz bottle pours a clear, dark gold with a ring of white head. Nose has apples (obviously), lots of over ripe - near rotting - apple cores, some caramel too, a little vanilla, some poached pear as well, hints of carrot cake too. Flavor is super smooth, mild vanilla, mild white grape, a little spice, a little caramel and apple juice. Super smooth finish.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden with a very small fizzy white head that dissipates quickly with no lacing. Aroma is green apples and mushrooms, some bourbon. Flavor is tart apples, mushrooms, Brett, a bit of oaky bourbon, more mushrooms. Quite funky and light tart. Lightish body, effervescent carbonation. I despise mushrooms, and I especially hate when a beer or cider gets infected with mushrooms. Fail.
