Can - Weirdly fruity and vegetal notes. Clear gold with almost no head. Messy, bitter, fruity and sweet. Trainwreck of big flavours.

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Dull golden color with no head. Butter and toasted coconut aroma. Biscuity coconut flavor, some butter. Not what you want in a beer.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with almost no head. Aroma brings out lots of vegetal and herbal notes -- quite skunky off-notes. Flavour is just nasty, with notes of vegetal and herbal qualities. Quite offensive, with an almost garbage-y notes. Drain pour.

Sampled at Brother’s Beer Bistro. Pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy warm cap and decent lacing. Fruity orange aromas with nice yeast and grass. Fruity malt taste with some good grassy hops. Pretty nice overall unfiltered version of their OPA.

Can at the Arrow & Loon. Pours a hazy light-amber colour with a bubbly small head and nice creamy lacing. Fruity aromas with even strawberry notes, over caramel malt base. The taste starts off hoppy, creates some nice bitterness, dryness going slowly down with some mild grass lingering. Easy-drinking, not-too-crazy-hoppy, caramelised IPA that is pretty refreshing, yet gets hoppier with time.

A brown ipa with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light nutty notes, light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, nice but not to style.

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, light off caramel malt with light peated and sourish notes, fruity esters, OK. In mouth, a strange peated notes, light caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, watery bodied, plain and boring, a bit unbalanced. Cask at Arrow and Loon.

Bottle: Poured a clear bright golden color ale with a large foamy white had with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of soapy hops with loads of coconut is quite powerful. Taste is also dominated by loads of soapy hops with a ton of coconut. Body is about average with good carbonation. Way too much coconut for its own good which ends up being gross.

A golden ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, unpleasant sweet papaya with sulfur, butterscotch, coconut, not excellent. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with butterscotch, light floral hops, light mango and coconut, cloying and watery, not good.

Enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights, beige head and decent lacing. Mild roasted malt aromas. Eventually, hints of coffee come out as the beer gets warmer. Roasted malt taste with the coffee and some light dark fruits. A little dry finish. A decent normal stout with some nice dryness.
