Bottle at Supermarket, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour brings out piney hops, and a big caramely biscuity backing. Well-balanced and restrained for an IPA. Solid stuff.

Bouteille 275ml.

Pretty damn good for a pale lager. The sorachi gives it a little aroma that distinguishes it from your average lager. Pours pale and pissy as any of its peers, quickly dying head. Has a crisp taste (that sounds like a beer commercial). Ya. Bottle.

Draught at C’est What, Toronto
Amber color, small head. Light aroma of caramel. Some caramel flavor, the hopping is partially resiny; it seems to be unfresh.

Draught, Caplansky’s. Golden-brown with a thick head. Earthy and lightly fruity aroma. Lots of malts here, too. Earthy, caramelly flavours with light toast. Decent bitterness (~45 IBUs?) but not expressive enough for an IPA. I like the beer, though. It’s well-balanced, earthy, and a good pale ale.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color lager with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy and floral grassy notes from the hops with light clean cereal notes. Taste is a mix between some grassy floral hops with good notes of refreshing clean cereal notes with some light sweet notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed though a bigger hops punch could have provided further enjoyment of this one.

Smaller 275ml single bottle (luckily, one was alone beside their 6-pack) from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour with a small white head that disappears quickly. Real cereal malt scent... yeah, the real stuff - no corn. Pretty decent aromas for a light beer. Light-bodied and mildly carbonated. The taste though is kind of weird. Lightly malty, but with rice (it seems) in the aftertaste. Too bad the nice cereal present in the nose is not really showing in the taste. Still, a better than most macro light beers.

LCBO, six-pack of 275ml bottles ($11.35): Pours a copper like color with a big enough head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, but nothing extreme. Definitely more of a mild IPA. Nice malt backbone, but this is also lighter bodied than many IPAs I have had. Fairly easy to drink overall. High enough ABV to be a proper IPA. Well-balanced throughout. Not the best Canadian IPA I’ve had, but still perfectly nice.

Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO, in 275ml bottles. Pours a clean copper colour with an off-white creamy-froth head that has a decent stay and some nice thick lacing. Hoppy nose with hints of caramel malts. Medium-bodied and well-brewed between good wetness and a little dryness. The taste is hoppy as well, but not too bitter, with some grain showing in the aftertaste. An easy-drinking APA.
