Can from the LCBO. Cloud dark amber under a generous off white head that fades gradually leaving tight lace. Nose has some caramel, floral notes, some pear, citrus and grass. Flavour follows with a light+sweet caramel malt base leading to a medium grass and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium with good carbonation and a lingering bitter finish with a touch of pepper. 7+/4/7+/4-/15+

Bouteille de 750 ml du canada Craft Beer Club. Arômes de solvant et de petits fruits acidulés et de chou bouilli. Ça n'augure pas bien. Les houblons semblent affadis et périmés. Liquide doré, très légèrement voilé. Gazéification moyenne. Mousse rocailleuse qui se maintient assez bien. Petits fruits acidulés en entrée de bouche avec accents de miel sauvage et de houblons périmés. Le profil malté est dissimulé sous l'acidité. Les accents floraux et herbacés sont bien présents mais sont dominés par cette saveur désagréable et acidulée. Je ne sais que penser de cette bière. Ses propriétés gustatives sont-elles voulues ou la bière est-elle périmée?

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour from the can. The head is creamy, long lasting, warm with some decent lacing. The aromas are really not what I like. The fruity malts are alright, but the hops are not well-balanced with this, creating some infected notes (with very mild sourness). The taste gives out this feeling as well, but the average bitterness comes to help things. The grassiness is much better here. Better blended with the citrus fruits. Gets better as it goes, but this infection-thing really bugs me.

Pours a clean golden colour with a frothy warm cap, decent retention and some foamy lacing. Grainy cereal malt aromas with some hints of sweetness. The taste has some metallic flavour to it which is not appealing, but the hops adds some nice bitterness in the end to save this. Grassy notes lingers a bit. The malt is present as well helping things, but mild overall. An all-around, slightly hoppier, decent pilsner.

Canned, from LCBO. Clear amber, rich creamy head. Mild caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with mild pine. Lightly resiny finish. A balanced beer, well in line with Englands premium bitters.

Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Light flavoured with grapefruit and crystal malt. Mid bitter finish

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted mlt, slight caramelish. Toasted malty, caramelish. Medium dry. Toasted malt finish.

This ale poured a medium amber colour with a minimal soapy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include malt and a little bit of dough. Not much to the nose. First swig was a little thin with flavours of honey, tea and caramel. More complex in the flavour than the nose. Finish is malty with a little bitterness/hop flavour on the palate lingering.

Cloudy light gold with a fizzy white head and a funky pear and earthy toejam estery aroma. Medium bodied and zesty with lots of bready pear, white pepper and spice. Really good after a few fairly flavorless cans.

There is something a little too cloying in the sweetness of this beer. You definitely get a saison yeasty flavour both in the nose and the taste but not loving it.
