A murky reddish brown ale with a thin moka head. In aroma, a superb balanced ground cherry with light epsom salts, horseblanket, classic, à la Rodenbach. In mouth, lighter than expected with sour cherries acidity, a bit dry and light, but overall, a nice Quebec sour. Bottle at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept. 2 2011.

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a light perfumey malt with herbaceous notes, so-so. In mouth, a dry malt with faint esters, grainy, dry, but not the hoppy belgian expected. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept. 2 2011.

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a small bubbly head withy minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of vinous malt with some medium tart notes is quite interesting. Taste is also an interesting mix between some tart notes with some vinous notes and light funky ester. Acidity is limited (which is not necessarily a bad thing) and light residual grapes notes are more or less pleasant. Body is below average with some watery notes with low carbonation. Interesting experiment though lacking in funky ester and more tart notes would have provided better enjoyment.

Bouteille 500ml (2010).

Bottle: Poured a yellow color ale with white haze and a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lavender and coriander with refreshing wheat malt and light orange peel notes. Taste is also a refreshing and complex mix of lavender and coriander with notes of orange peel with some super solid wheat malt. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Very well brewed with great drinkability and some very nice complexity.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of floral hoppy notes with light citrus undertones. Taste is a nice enough mix between some floral hoppy notes with light citrus and earthy hops mix in as well. Caramel malt is present though not as dominant as expected. Body is quite full with light oily texture and good carbonation and alcohol is hidden behind hops profile. Not the best example from the style but well brewed nonetheless.
