This ale? KΓΆlsch? poured a clear medium yellow colour with a white creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, honey, biscuit, apricot and hay. First swig was smooth and delicious with flavours of corn, malt, biscuit and light honey. Finish is a wee bit sweet with hay and honey flavours lingering.

This red poured just that. Deep red colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, malt, little ripe fruit, light toast, wee bit of basement must and sweet candy. First swig was smooth with a thicker mouthfeel, with lower carbonation and flavours of sweet malt, must, toast and mild hops. Finish is oh so malty, with light hop bitterness lingering.

Can from the lcbo. Hazy orange, with a small white head. Nice earthy lime and yuzu aroma, with a soft cereal note.. Mouth feel is light, carb is good. Finish is zesty, earthy, yuzu takes over, slight key lime pie notes. Decent., I was surprised.

Can from the lcbo. Slightly hazy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is muted, pine resin, light fruit, funky grass. Mouth feel and carb are ok. Finish is very bitter, tropical notes and stone fruit are nowhere to be found. Musty wet paper, resinous, wet grass. Not good.
