On tap. Pours a straw color with light head. Very light aromas of apples and yeast. Flavors of lemon wax, white pepper, light cereal and wheat. Very light and subtle. A salad beer.

On tap. Pours a pinkish amber with light head. Aromas of raspberries and light funk. Flavors of dusty raspberries, earthy wheat and citrus tartness. A good rendition of a fruit wheat beer but not my favorite.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy pale blond color. Mild aroma, but with some interesting element, some citrus fruit, bread, lactic acid. Dry mouthfeel, it has a delicate bready flavor and correct bitterness.
It doesn’t have much Saison character nor Ella, but it’s a simple pleasant brew.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light, with lots of hops for a saison and restrained farmhouse notes. Flavour is very bitter and hoppy, with loads of floral hops that dry out the palate. Not really getting much in the way of a saison here. Finishes dry and astringent in a not-so-pleasant way. Not very good at all. Needs work.

Hazy amber-red, nice head. Diacetyl up front, cleaner-like phenols, too. Earthy, toasty palate, the diacetyl a little more dialed back but I still don’t want it anywhere near my glass. Not a ton of expressive hop character either.

Med brown, cocoa, choc aroma is prominent, chocolatey, bit thin/fizzy, with a bitter chocolate finish. Not bad, but I’ve had a lot of stouts like this.

Cloudy, light tan, floral, spicy nose with pepper & coriander, and a touch of musty yeastiness. Taste has more yeast character, a fair bit of sweet slightly biscuity malts, and just a touch of spiciness in the finish. Finishing with a dash of acidity.

Cute cloudy pinkish colour, like hello kitty beer. Aroma is raspberry essence, some musty yeastiness, and the palate is wheaty, with fresh acidity, balanced raspberry. Lemon maybe as bitterness.

Golden colour, aroma is way off - diacetyl blitzkriegs the olfactory orifice. God, it’s burnt, too, like electrical wire phenols. Tastes a bit better, as pale malts and some saaz comes through though the is some diacetyl still prominent.
