Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.
We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear Beer Fest 2014. One off for pigs ear. Aroma is nice pronounced big roasty coffee, coffee bean, roast coffee. Burnt orange / caramel coloured pour with a loose light tan coloured head. Flavour is composed of coffee bean, rich smooth roast coffee, nutty malts, touch of sweetness. A little artifical kamp coffee, coffee cake, but i dig it. Palate is medium bodied, semi-sweet, lowish carbonation. I like it

Cask at CBC Clapham during Craft 100. Pours clear russet with a light tan cream head. The nose has light grapes and bready malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with further bready malts, berries, then some mellow peppery spice. Light in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with some musty berry and grape, a bit of bitter grass and wood, lightly tangy and spicy peppercorns. OK.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2014. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, big coffee character, roast, warming and chocolate-covered coffee beans. The taste is earthy, toast, big coffee, mild astringency, some bitterness, citrus rind, wood and leather with a dry, coffee-driven finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly oily finish. Works rather well (if you like coffee that is!).

Pigs Ear. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer with a few lonely pale tan bubbles. Palate is dry and with modest fine crispness. Fairly strong coffee but it never gets over bitter. A little fruity sweetness balances things out. Light semi dry finish. Whisper of floralness. Not bad.
