Cask at the York Tap. OK, not really anything special. Might be better as a keg beer, to let the hops shine through more

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 22 Nov 2012) Amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, marmalade and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, orange marmalade and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Nice and tasty.

Hazy brown beer, small pale tan head. Light dry palate. Light touch of dark malt, trace of unsweet chocolate and a whisper of smoke. Mild orange with a little pine. Dry finish. Hangs together okay but could do with some more complexity.
