Cask at Earl of Essex, Islington, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, bitter and there is a little rye in the mix.

Cask at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a lingering, creamy white head. Nose holds lots of ripe citrus, some bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, some sugary orange, slight minerals, white bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and lightly sticky to finish with some pine needles, orange, white bread. A simple but tasty beer.

Cask at the North Pole - London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, creamy white head, which leaves an impressive lacing. Crispy straw and biscuity pale malts in the nose. Light sweet flavor, some dry straw and hay, hints of crunchy cereal grains, some pithy lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Clean finish, further dry biscuity pale malts, moderate straw bitterness, some subtle lemon rind. Solid golden ale.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 24 Apr 2013) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus and orange peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with peaches, biscuity malt and fresh grassy hops in a finish with a certain bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Cask at the Catford Bridge Tavern. Amber pour with a white head. Citrus and light malt aroma. Honey and citrus flavour. Long malt linger. Light bitter finish. Good stuff.
