Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2011. Clear mid brown with thin off white head. Grapefruit American hop aroma. Unbelievably good. Its like a really good American style amber ale. Good drinkability. Some spicy rye and some lovely bitter fresh hop. Good biting grapefruit. Just beautifully drinkable with juicy fruits in yhe mouth and a finish that lives and lives. Best beer of festival so far

Cask at the London Drinker BF. Clear yellow pour with a light film. Grassy, floral hops on the nose. Light straw flavor, some citra, very grassy. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky hop finish, mildly sweet, with lingering earth and hay bitterness. Excellent stuff.

Hazy darkish amber beer, residual white head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish toffee malt with sweetish red fruits and mild sherbetty orange!! Finishes semi dry. Intriguing tangy fruity hops that are a little sweet. Nice!

Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy red-brown with a thin foamy beige head. The nose is resin, red berry, orange, grapefruit and lemon. The taste is orange, mango, lemon, lime, resin, rye, pine, red berry, toast, hay and grass, with a long bitter-citrus finish. An Interesting beer that’s really enjoyable to drink.

50cl Bottle at Dutch RB Meeting, a gift from nate2g, thanks Nate! Dark brown colour, small off white head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, green hops, pine, liquorice (drop), wybertjes/laurel. Flavour is bitter, hard roasted malts, green stuff, pine, hops, very dry, liquorice. Light to medium bodied. Different, but a bit too harsh on the bitterness imo.

Thanks to Evin and Toby for this unexpected treat! Cloudy amber red beer, short lived creamy tan head. Slight soft palate, moderate carbonation. Fresh hops on the nose. Creamy smooth malt with a whisper of lacto caramel sweetness. Trace of rye spice. Fresh piney hops turning to a little marmalade and then a bitter grapefruit kick. Some orange citrus underneath. Semi dry smooth finish with long lingering bitter aftertaste. Superior!

Dark blond colour. Fresh, clean taste with a light hoppiness and a hint of citrus. Texture is rather thin.

Half pint, hand pulled cask ale at Bree Louise. Deep, dark brown coloured body. Shiny surface. Resinous hops to the nose with a drop of sweet malts behind. Delicate flavour of caramel malts in fine interplay with dark fruits. Solid bitter end with a rhubarb touch (London, 19.03.2011).

Half, cask at Bree Louise, Euston. Near-clear golden. Naked on the surface, spotty lacing at the glassware. Floral fruity aroma. Fruity shells in flavour with a very dry bitter end. Easy to drink, but it does not feel too thin on the swallow. Drinks quite well (London, 19.03.2011).
