Chestnut to mahogany colour, medium sized dense beige-ish head; aroma of raisins, prune, some dried cherry, cinnamon, clove, burnt sugary, rhum, oak barrel and slight cocoa notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; amazing beer! Thanks so much for sharing, Kapusil!

4 oz draft. Decent. Aroma is rye whiskey, coffee, chocolate.
Flavor is the same. Decent mouthfeel. Mild warming after the sip. Better than in a can. But in all seriousness, something changed with the base stout. Thinner texture. Just not what it used to be.

4 oz draft. Smelled like melted caramel in a glass. Flavor follows, of course. The mild sea salt and mild warming booze does help the sweetness. Body is medium. Couldn’t drink more than 4 ounces.

Another Brewver worldwide Top 50 (#13) for the style. 16 ounce can from Tavour. Mahogany brown color is topped by a creamy beige cap. Aromas of dark dried fruits, caramel, vanilla and oak. First sip is sweet dark malt, toffee, figs, port wine and bourbon. Soft mouthfeel. Smooth, despite the high ABV. Some vinous notes on backend.
