Dark opaque color, short brown head. Aroma of black chocolat, roasted malt, rye, bit fruity of berries. Bitter taste of chocolat and malt. Not very alcoholic, only retronasal some alcohol. Very good!

Pours is a nice deep red with a smallish white head. Aroma is suprisingly very hoppy. Flavor is complex. Lots going on here. First thing you notice is the sweetness. Then you get some molasses, raisins and fruity goodness. Finally you get the alcohol burn as it goes down. In the end a very tasty brew that will leave you with a nice warm and fuzzy feeling. I think I am going to take a nap now.

Tripel-like appearace and aroma, with notes of apricot, apple, peach and spice - the flavor doesn’t quite offer up what the aroma promises - this walks a fine line between "delicate" and "weak/thin" and it doesn’t always lean toward the good side of that line - light fruits predominate at first, pear, grape skins - saison spice shows up late, with a gradual swell of hops that don’t seem to meld nearly as well with the spice as they could (or should) - a good, albeit out-of-balance effort.

Bottle Poured a very dark brown. Nearly black. Modest tan head and sparce lacing. Aroma is a nice mix of malt, molasass, caramel and prunes. Flavor is a heavy, smokey, toffee mix that works very well. Easy on the hops and quite tasty. Feel is a bit thin and the alcohol is definately there but masked well for nearly 12%. Moderate carbonation and a slightly bitter chocolate trailer.

The aroma is very hoppy. The color is amber and it has a small white head. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy - a nice ESB.

Bottled. Pale amber, brief head. Rich grapefruit aroma. Full bodied and sweet with clean mouthfeel. Sugary and enourmously hoppy with extremely bitter finish. An ambitious beer that misses the target. The malt profile is too hard and clean, it’s too sweet and the biterness in the finish is like ink.

Pours a nice cloudy yellow. Aroma is very creamy. Flavor is coriander and other types of citrus. Very spicey mouthfull at the end. Noty bad but better out there, say in Belgium.

Bottle. Amber color with a big white head. Big grapefruit aroma that also seems very refreshing. Nice bitterness, but a slightly light body. Light malt body, good bittering flavor of grapefruit, some tar, and some spice. Easy to drink.

Bottle. Amber beer with a thin head. Little aroma - some malt and spice. Rich malt flavor, slightly bubblegummy, slight earthiness, some raisiny flavors. Lingering sacharine flavor. It seems like a poor American version of a Belgian that seems to be cropping up all over the place - no complexity, poor finish (too sweet and in a bad way).
