Ins Glas ergießt sich ein milchig trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringer weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch ziemlich sauer, Laktose, Brett. Geschmack sehr säuerlich fruchtig, leicht holzig, Kraut.

Bottle courtesy of Tomaz, thank you sir! Murky brown color, tan head. Aroma of slightly sour coffee grounds. Taste is similar.

Aroma is sourish with lambic-like notes: grapefruit, earthy notes and hints of rhubarb. Flavour has sour cream, some green apples, earthy tones and some grapefruit. Also some lactic tones in the background. A bit foamy palate. Finishes with lingering tartness and grapefruit. Not as aggressive as some other berliners, but good still.

On tap at Hopfenreich, Berlin on 25th July 2014. Hazy amber with thinning white foam and part lacing. Sour fruits and yeastiness in aroma. Zingy raspberry and tangy lemon citrus in-mouth. Short lived intense finish of the same flavour profile - no bad thing. Medium body and zingy mouthfeel.

Aroma of peach, apricot, sweet tart, lactic acid, nice fruity nose
Taste was tart, acidic, soft peach, mainly very tart, quite refreshing, rather 1-dimensional though
Palate - soft carb, light body. Nice clean acidity.
Overall - Quite a decent Berliner Weisse
