473ml can. Pours a hazy red-copper with lots of floaties and a medium, frothy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Aroma of bready caramel malt, vegetal and earthy yeast. Semi-sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, vegetal, earthy yeast and faint grapefruit in a dry, mild bitter, floral hop finish. Light to medium body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing, I just couldn't get past the vegetal notes. Very malt forward. More of an Amber than an IPA. Not terrible, but enough to make me cringe ALL DAY.

This lager poured a hazy yellow colour with a soapy, white head. Scents include corn, cooked veggies and honey. First swig was a little thin with flavours of spice, corn and light hops. Finish was lightly hoppy with a little fruit flavour. Medium hoppy flavours lingering.

This cream ale poured an almost red colour with a big, beautiful, creamy off white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include a bit of caramel and light hoppiness. First swig was nice and smooth with flavours of malt and mild hops. Finish is mildly bitter with that delicious malty flavour lingering.

This English ale poured a deep amber colour with a soapy/creamy off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include cream, light spruce and some very fine skunk? First swig was pretty thin for an English ale. Flavours of caramel, grass and a little spruce. Finish is medium bitter with hop flavour lingering.

Pours a slight hazed amber colour from the can, with some caramel highlights. Off-white head, average stay and a little lace. Big spicy darker cereal malt aromas like rye with some caramel base. Hints of molasses. The taste has this mild spiciness with the sweetness of the caramel malt. Works well and easy to drink. Not a bad ale, but nothing too out-of-this-world.

After having the Radical Road Yuzu Pale Ale which was quite good, let's try this Pale Ale. Pours a clean amber colour with an off-white head with decent dirty lace. Very mild aromas of fruity malts and some citrus notes. Hints of caramel malts in the background. The taste has some fruitiness again with decent dryness from the citrus peel. Alright for a Pale Ale, but nothing too exciting to get again.

Can from the LCBO. Clear copper under a small quick fading off white head. Nose is toffee, touch of butter, moderate grassy hops. Light toffee sweetness and a light+ grassy bitterness. Mouth is a tad thin and slick with soft carbonation. Labelled as an English ale which is much closer than a bitter as categorized here. Not great. 6-/3/5-/3-/10+
