Old rating from 11-04-16 - 500ml bottle. A 500ml bottle brought back from Shropshire by a friend. The label states American hops & British malts. Pours a hazy amber colour with a foamy white head. Aromas of citrus. Tastes of citrus, grapefruit, pine & malt. Aftertaste of mild bitterness. Overall, a decent refreshing pint.

Bottle from Tanner's Wine Merchants, Shrewsbury. Golden with a bubbly-frothy head. Light charactered pale ale, but sessionable and pleasant drinking. Hoppy nose and quite a lot of carbonation through the palate.

Bottle from Tanners Wine Merchants, Shrewsbury. Lighter golden with a small bubbly head. Nice fusion of malt and hops here, giving it a traditional feel with some light citrus notes in taste.

500ml bottle – Pours a clear gold colour with a small foamy near white head. The aroma is light sweet malt, lemony, grassy hops with a hint of spice. A moderately sweet and moderately bitter taste, light malts and fruity citrus, grapefruit and lemony flavours, with a lingering bitter finish.

Bottle from Tanners Wine Merchants, Shrewsbury. Blonde with a creamy-bubbly head. Hoppy and deeper tasting in this respect than its strength would suggest. The robust continental hop is very evident in this one.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured an opaque copper with a bubbly white head. Aroma is astringent citrus cleaner. Taste is citrus, not as astringent as the nose, bitter, malty backbone.
