Good dense, light yellowish head; hazy amber-ochre beer. Citrus, fresh, also cat’s pee, caramel, fruitjuice (difficult to guess which!), berries. Bitter from resiny hops and a jumble of fruitsensations. The bitterness, however, sits a bit uneasy on the acidity of the fruit. As much clashing as blending. I get the mango they suggest, but it remains a suggestion only. Quite slick, resiny, fruit-filled. Excellent try anyway. More power to these Russian craft pioneers!

Sample from the bottle at Olutexpo 2016, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Weird aroma and needs softness.

(Keg at OlutExpo 2016) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweetness and cow shit. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A bit messy but still good imperial stout.

A new Russian favorite. Nice.
Black as a pirate should be. Hugh beige head that leaves a nice lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation. Not as high as feared. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry texture. Licorice, coffee, roast, pine, fruity and citric. Absolutely recommendable.
