Description
Founded in 2015 it was our mission to redefine craft cider. Craft beer had a revolution, but why was cider left behind? We set out to craft the best cider by blending specific pressed apple varieties together to untap unique flavour profiles. Cidermaking has typically been the foray of an aging vanguard - it takes tradition combined with vision to market and distribute cider far and wide. Craft beer calls to the next generation through intrigue and innovation, not only during the blending process, but on the bar and in the fridges too. 'Beard & Sabre Dry, Medium and Sweet' just wouldn't do if we wanted to inspire people to drink our cider.

Keg from the Fierce & Noble bar at the Chippenham Folk Festival. Deep gold. Sweetish apple juice with just a hint of apple skins and a very light funkiness. It's like one of those mass market craft ciders designed to offend as few people as possible at the expense of any real character. Sure enough, I'm not offended. It's easy drinking, fairly refreshing and pleasant enough. It's fine.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Pip Stop online. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold with a small, fizzy white head. Fairly sweet but not cloying, with some nice rounded apple juice character, minimal hop presence, hints of bitter peel, pear maybe. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Reasonably clean finish, more sweet apple, juicy vibes. Highly drinkable stuff for sure, if maybe a little simple.

500ml bottle from Tipplers, Bewdley. Flat. Pours a clear copper, aroma of lightly caramelised apple fruit. Taste is indeed exceptionally dry, light acidic prickle with very gentle tannin presence. Its a bit dull, probably due to its age (5 months past its best before) so fresh would reveal additional fruity flavour. Ok
