Can that pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big creamy-fluffy warm cap that lasts quite a long time and leaves some good foamy lacing. Citrus aromas with some grassiness, and eventually hints of raisins. Big orange flavours at first sip, but the hops gives a boost of grass again. All balanced with the oats. Some citrus zest notes. Goes down nicely with a juicy mouthfeel, and the finish is fairly dry.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank notes with some juicy citrus notes and huge hoppy undertones. Taste is also a mix of dank notes with some juicy citrus notes, light residual sugar notes with huge hoppy floral notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Huge IIPA with nice juicy hops presence and balanced residual sugar level.

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. A bit of funk and grains. Light malts, touch sour and some funk.

Hazy amber, looks quite dull. There's a bit of brett, and there's a very light malt accent. On the palate, I get the brett. There's a touch of malt, but I'm not sure what the base beer is really aiming for. It's not got any of what you'd call biere de garde character, and as a brett beer it comes across as a dull amber. So not my favourite Castor.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dirty orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, gentle sweetness, and bready malt. Flavour is on the boozy side, with earthy yeast, bready malt and a bit of floral, perfumey character. Not exactly convincing for the style. Rather earthy and uncoordinated, especially for Le Castor. Puzzling beer.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Hazy blond colour. More sour than saison, it's juicy, with soft tannins, and barrel character. Very good.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy deep yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing as well. Aroma of juicy hops notes with some floral undertones and tropical notes is quite enticing. Taste is also a great mix of tropical notes with juicy hops undertones and with a dryer finish then I was expected. Enjoyable IPA with nice mux of hops but somewhat dryer than expected.
