Canned in 2021, purchased at the sterk, Amsterdam. Opening this can tonight, at home. For me, it was just a jewel before to sleep, great imperial stout, roasty, sweet, vanilla, chocolate, rich touch of toffee, well balanced, final of hop, lovely

Can from Brew Export. Nose is pineapple, mango, sweet citrus, grapefruit, guava. Rich tropical fruit and sweet citrus flavours. Punchy fruity swirl on the palate. Tangy hoppy aftertaste. Very nice.

(Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2026) Cloudy golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple and herbs. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel, pineapple, passionfruit, white bread and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness in the finish. A light citric acidity in the background. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and hoppy. Very nice.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a smooth if slightly dry creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft pine, a bit of orange creamsicle I would have associated with Lotus hops. Some candyish complexity on the back end, Zappa skittles. Airy finish brings a mild hop spice. Nice all rounder with a hop profile that is thankfully off the well trodden path.
