500ml bottle conditioned; BBE Jan 2018. Poured into my Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 8th Nov 2017. Good dark colour, black in fact; tanned foam topping. Malty, smooth a just slightly sweet in nature, easy drinking and moorish.

500ml bottle condition: BBE May 2018. Poured into a UK pint sleeve glass at home on 30th June 2017. Slight haze to the amber body, smooth off-white blanket of foam on top. Nose is piney, herbal and earthy, all floating alongside a malty base aroma. The taste is also piney, herbal and earthy, again with a good (semi-sweet) malty base. Gets more bitter as it warms in the glass and mouth, almost a sharpening of the bitterness in the finish. Liked it.

Bottle from from Mac and Jac’s, Worcester consumed at home cooking spicy lamb shanks and making mushroom soup, Sunday 15th May 2016 Pours light mid gold with a white mid sized head. Not much of an aroma and the taste is ermm... tasteless, hoppiness lacking, bitterness lacking, flavour lacking, drinkability lacking. My dad would describe this as ’like drinking Gnats Piss’ I think he might have a point here. I had a lot of good beers to open in the fridge, looks like this wasn’t one of them, boring beyond belief, cannot be arsed to drink more than half the bottle. A6 A4 T4 P2 Ov9 2.5
