Draft. Aroma of chocolate, hopjesvla, peach, orange and chocolate malt. Taste has smooth hopjesvla, chocolate, peach, smooth orange hops, chocolate malt and soft caramel. Like a hoppy hopjesvla stout, very nice.

Pretty much a clear amber beer, big fluffy pale tan head. Slowly fades with a mellow snap, crackle and pop. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Notably sweet malts, fluffy creamy sweetness and some caramel offsetting what appears to be a peaty whiskey barrel treatment. A fruity peaty whiskey that is mercifully none too peaty. This is an odd duck of a barleywine. Kinda hands together but still feels off centre. Certainly didn’t hate it but neither would I want to drink the whole bottle.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast, tobacco, dark chocolate, soft resin, some hops, light herbal. Flavour follows, quite smooth, chocolate, some tobacco, mildly hopped for a BIPA but it suits the beer, light herbal, resin, light fruity, soft bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Somewhat thin malts, mildly sweet. A suggestion of lager malt. That requisite grapey champagne bitterness. Not much citric hop here, some peel. Light semi dry finish. A decent Brut but I wanted a crisper palate and a little more sharpness from the hops.

Bottle. Amber color. Only vague vegetable and fruity notes in the shy aroma. Vegetable flavor with yeasty notes, orange and a vague sourness. Amateuristic.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, caramel and coffee in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly soft roasty flavor with coffee and a hint of salted licorice. Almost Full bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Murky dark brown color. Caramel, milk chocolate and a hint of nutmeg in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet, soft spicy finish. Drinkable.
