12/6/2019. Bottle from Tesco, Gloucester. Pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, lime, passion fruit, malt, flowers and grass. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Quite drinkable. Also 10/1/2026. Can from the brewery. See photo.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - strawberry and orange, with a pine thing going on in the background. Taste - more strawberry, light caramel biscuit. An orange hint again. Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry and crunchy-ish but smooth through the finish. Overall - nice beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep brown with amber chinks. Thin but attractive head. Nose - caramel, light tar and a hint of nuts. Almost more treacle than molasses. Taste - treacle sponge then toffee that's slightly burnt. Palate - medium bodied, sweet and crunchy through the middle. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - good stuff.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear dark brown with a short-lived thin off-white head. Aromas of molasses and tar, treacle and nuts. Taste is light chocolate, treacle, nuts. Thin and sweet finish.
