Bottle from Asda. Purple pour with brief pink hued head. Big blackcurrant aroma - part fresh pithiness / part cordial sweetness. Taste has a decent blackcurrant - much better freshness than most berry ciders, some apple juice, finish is a bit sugary sweet although not as artificial as some. Slick body, not cloying, average carbonation - works well for the style.

Half pint from draft at Alberts Schloss at £4.10! Clear dark gold with slight orange tint. Quite a sweet cider with a rose hint to the apple. It doesn't really rise above their supermarket offerings but is quite pleasant.

Can from local convenience store. Pours very pale with brief fizz. Aroma and flavour is indeed juicy pithy eating apples. Its on the sweet side with a mild dryness. Light to smooth bodied, moderate carbonation, easy drinking and very pleasant.

From my local convenience store. Clear gold with some bubbles around the edges. Aroma of dry apple juice, skins, underlying sweetness. Taste of apple pith, semi-drying, bittersweet, somewhat tangy with skin notes. Warming finish. Light+ bodied with fine carbonation. Is there any real difference to the 2019 and 2020 vintage? Without trying side by side it's difficult to say but looking at my notes I suspect it has less of that matured full flavour it mentions. Still tasty though.

Bottle from local One Stop. Pours clear gold with roaring carbonation and brief fizzy head. Aroma of apple skins, wood, sugars. Taste of fruity apple, skins, wood, slightly bittersweet but subtle, medium dry finish, slightly warming going down but hides alcohol well. Light bodied but the carbonation pushes the flavours around the palate well meaning it has a refreshing quality and yet is still flavoursome. Nice cider.

Can from Iceland supermarket. Pours a crystal clear nuclear pinkish orange colour, brief fizzy top. Aroma of fruity blood orange, slightly soda like in character. Taste is sweet with syrupy but fruity blood orange. Struggling to discern any apple underneath due to heavy flavouring. Light to medium bodied, slightly oily feel, moderate carbonation. The flavouring is ok but dominates everything and gets a bit one dimensional after a while.

500ml bottle. Clear gold, small white bubbly head. Aroma is caramal, stewed apple, oddly a bit malt like. Taste is stewed mellow apples, caramal, quite sweet. Not exactly fresh tasting but its fine.
