Helle, sehr klare, goldene Farbe. Vergoren fruchtig in der Nase. Geschmacklich kommt das auch raus, aber eher mild. Aromatische Noten von frischer Apfelschale sind zu erahnen. Recht süß - das ist am dominantesten. Weich. Schmeckt nicht schlecht - ist mir aber zu süß, ohne ganz große Tiefe und auch etwas eindimensional.

On tap at Shepherd and Crook at Burmarsh. Clear orange gold colour lasting white head. Medium Apple juice inoffensive. Not much character. A bit sweet. Not much on finish. More or less apple juice.

Bottle from Tesco. Pale yellow with an obvious fizz. Light and refreshing with lemon and lime and a hint of Opal Fruit sweets (or Starburst or whatever they're called these days). It's sweetish but, unlike many flavoured ciders, not overbearingly so. lThe dirty tang of Strongbow does come through in the finish but thankfully it's fairly subdued. Overall this was significantly better than I expected - but that's based on pretty low expectations!

[50cl bottle from Sainsbury’s.] A clear apple juice colour with a fair amount of fizz; quite a floral aroma; sweet floral taste to start, then a kick off tart green apple; before a sweet finish.

Krimsektrot und fast glasklar im Glas. Johannisbeeriger Geruch. Geschmacklich bestimmen eher Erd- und Himbeere das Geschehen. Der Apfel kommt vergleichsweise dezent raus, dezenter ist nur die Limone - obwohl sie sogar mit namensgebend für dieses Getränk ist. Kohlensäure reichlich und recht scharf - gibt dem Ganzen Lebendigkeit und nimmt etwas die Pappigkeit raus. Schmeckt schon ganz gut - nicht zu künstlich und weitgehend frei von Fehlnoten. Mir aber eindeutig viel zu süß.
