Bottle, 8%. Malty and citric aroma. Cloudy dark golden, orange colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is malty with notes of fresh bread and yeast. Hint of citrus in the finish. Low to medium bitterness and a mild alcohol presence. High and bubbly carbonation.

Best before 14/12/2021, 330ml bottle; Goedendag Cuvée 1302 is a provision ale resulting from blending young beer with beer that has matured on oak casks. This dark complex beer is slightly sour, giving its refreshing character. Enjoy its malty, caramel, wood, apple and dried fruit flavors. Bottle conditioning.
APPEARANCE: deep brown color with dark cherry hues, cappuccino like head with fairly big bubbles but also a lot of tiny ones
AROMA: fairly smooth on the nose, medium light sweetness of caramel candy, brown sugar, impressions of slightly darker sugars, stewed apples, apple peel, wet wood/oak, hints of cherries & musty cellar, very soft sweet balsamic vinegar on the edges, raisins, subtle bread dough, impressions of butterscotch, spicy hints (no obvious alcohol)
TASTE: smooth & light carbonation, creamy & fluffy bubbles, quite slick & slightly syrupy mouthfeel at the beginning, medium-light body, quite dry and fairly tannic bitterness in the aftertaste, hints of cardboard (very mild oxidation) and subtle rust/iron but doesn't affect the flavor profile in a bad way; light caramel sweetness at the beginning, butterscotch slickness, clear oak/wood component, stale apple peel, subtle hints of red dried fruits (impressions of figs, cherry, maybe prunes), a faint hint of marzipan, no sourness at all but there is a soft balsamic vinegar & white wine tartness; lingering dryness from the oak casks;
OVERALL: quite restrained in the sour/tart part of the beer; not overly complex but neither a bad example, wood/oak is really noticeable, malty sweetness and fruit esters are in the backseat, low alcohol spiciness
