Bottle. Pours a very dark brown hue with a initial large brown head that dies down. A vanilla, roast and licorice nose. The flavor is wonderful: layers of sweet chocolate and coconut, hot bourbon, vanilla. The age on this is not a problem, it actually works well. Sometimes that happens. Tingly alcohol and bitter roast in the finish. Just lovely. Home run. Tropical, hot, decadent.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium brown head that dies down. A smoky chocolate nose. Rich chocolate, initially strong bitter cedar, but it later dominates with chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Slick palate. Ashy.

Bottle. Has a few years on it. Pours a very dark hue, almost pitch black, a small white head that dissipates A big nose, mostly some barrel, dark fruit. Light heat, dark fruit, leather, figs for sure. Sweet elements, probably the berries, dark essence of fruit. Damn good. Would be a bit better fresh. Sort of reminds me of Expedition which is my favorite. Good.

500mL bottle #847, edition 16, shared by Chalumeaux on 11/17/24. Undetermined clarity, dark. Thin head. It's like Hunah, but you can actually smell the maple in the barrel. Clean, not boozey, chocolatey, tasteful adjuncts. Vanilla a nice addition. Nutty, chewy, well-attenuated, rich but not boozey or sugary. Medium body, mellow bourbon and rich maple. The adjuncts are delicious and moderate. Maple and nuttiness. This is rich, balanced and deliciously spicy.

500 ml shared by Chalumeaux from the Catador Club. Aroma is boiled peanuts and soft bourbon. Flavor of chocolate, peanut and d long lasting bourbon after the sip. It is close to a snickers bar dipped in bourbon. Real good!
