Thanks fonefan! Coppery brown colour with a tiny head. Aroma is sugar, some bourbon, mild chocolate, some syrup and a bit alcohol. Flavour is sugary, some bourbon, alcohol sweetness with some chocolate syrup as well as mild burnt sugary tones to it.

Pours clear brown with a mid-sized head. Aroma is brown sugar, dried plums and chocolate. Flavour is more brown sugar, dried plums and chocolate. Somewhat harsh finish.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Pitch black, no head. Aroma, flavour and mouthfeel is akin to homemade chocolate sauce with more than a tingle of bourbon. TBH I'd be over the moon if I'd be able to cook up this great chocolate sauce, and the bourbon seem fantastic. It's not even too sweet, and there is for sure too much alcohol here to use it up on vanilla ice cream for the kids. So, pretty awesome chocolate sauce it is. Would have love to try to non cacao-d beer though...

5 oz sample from a bottle. Thank you TJ. Aroma is chocolate and cinnamon. Flavor is chocolate, vanilla and in the finish shows mild cinnamon in a little bit of chili pepper. . Nice body and texture.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Viscous black, no head. Very sweet with full body and viscous mouthfeel. Lots of treacle, some whiskey and caramel. Maple syrup and treacle dominates. Woody, sticky, warming finish.
