Bottle from ABC Beers. Pours dark brown with an off white head. Aroma of wood, whiskey, light alcohol. Flavour is sweet, vanilla, chocolate, dry, whiskey and light bitter. Bottle 330ml.ABV: 6.5%. Unclear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, light burnt, light tart cherry and cherry stones. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate malt, leather notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120523]

33cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson and Dutchdrebus. Opaque dark brown color, small beige to light brown head. Smell malts, roasty, some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste malts, clearly hops coming through, roastyness, some chocolate. Medium body, medium carbo.Earlier Rating: 7/4/2011 Total Score: 3.8Nice medium to dark brown color. Smell roasted and burned malts. Taste a mixture of sweetness and bitterness. Very nice stout.

Bottle thx to benzai. Black with some redness shining through, nice off-white head. Smells roasty, smoked.. Tastes dark chocolate, roasty. Full body, good carbo.

33cl bottle @ home thanks to brewer Ramses Snoeij. Very dark brown color, small beige to light brown head. Smell malts, slightly roasty. Taste malts, lightly hops, some roastyness. Bottle thx to benzai. Pitch black colour with a very small light brown head. Smells watery, slightly roasty and slightly chocolate. Tastes very roasty, coffee, slightly hoppy and some dark chocolate. Full body, long aftertaste, good carbo.
