Taster at BitterCreek. Clear brown, almost opaque, tight, creamy head, lacing leaves sheets. Aroma is mildly nutty, taste brings the caramel, mils sweetness, not too much salt. roasty, nutty is what remains on the palate.

On Tap black with a thin tan head and spotty lacing. Lots of clean dark roast, cold camp fire and some coffee. Mostly sharp dark roast in the flavors. Not particularly complex, fairly dry and straight forward. Clean and sharp. Lots of piney IBUs. This I think would mellow nicely.

12 oz bottle poured. Picked up a six pack of these, and have been enjoying them the last week. A solid, session-ish pale with a ton of flavor. A pale golden pour, and pours with a ton of thick foam head. The only of the 6 pack that I poured to a glass. Soft cereal like grain on the aroma. Flavor is a bready, cereal like grain up front, with a nice, cool, interesting hop constant that follows and lingers. A little grassy, along with a hint of a grapefruit like bitterness. A good pale to pick up the six pack of. Cascade Lakes was one of the first craft brews I ever enjoyed. Another good one from them here. It's about time I make a trip back down to Redmond and visit the brewpub.
