Bottle from Boise Co-op. Big fruity aroma, citrus , dome pine. Electric orange golden body. Small bubbly head. Oranges, some floral notes in the taste. Nice oily mouth feel. A bit late in the fresh hop season, but this still sparkles.

Why would you wax a fresh hop IPA???
Hazy golden color, small head. In the aroma, there is pungent citrus zest. Flows nicely and lean on the tongue, the malts are a bit bready, some toffee, moderate residual sweetness, citrusy resins, kumquats, mandarin, light dank touch, perfumy, and something more that is difficult to describe, it adds to the weirdness, but it’s very interesting in the end.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank, juicy hops upfront, with a little citrus, and stone fruits. Flavour is super juicy, with loads of piney, dank and tropical juicy hops, with a fairly dry biscuity malt backbone. That hop characteristic is hugely drinkable, with lots of depth. Unexpectedly excellent.

Six pack from Albertsons. Mild haze on a medium gold body, small, soft head. Aroma is citrus and hoppy. Taste folliws with amplified citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and oranges. Mild bitterness comes at the tail end, and lingers for a bit. Pretty flavorful.

12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is wet socks, lemon rind, pineapple, earth. Pours hazy golden with a nice long lasting white head that leaves some lace. Taste is lightly bitter with a lot of juicy citrus flavor, some peach. Crazy beer that doesn’t smell too good but tastes great.

12 oz bottle poured. Once upon a time I was down in the Bend/Redmond area, and found this on draft, and it was my very first experience with Cascade Lakes. Main thing I take from that, is that the beer was solid enough for me to remember what beer it was. Picked this bottle up somewhere in Seattle recently. I was looking forward to this. The label looks to be slapped on by hand about 30 degrees off of being centered. The artwork looks like something I used to draw up in math class back in high school. Only I can’t draw. I’m about as good at drawing as I am at rating beers. You can tell what I’m trying to do, but just barely. The beer pours a bright orange color with a rocky foam head. Soft hop, spice malt, and metallic aroma. Flavor is barely floral, bready malt that is a good balance with the hops. Not quite sold on the hop profile, but the balance is good, and it drinks easy. A little different than your typical IPA. Not bad.
