Bottled OCT 02 2013. Pours a dark brown colour with a warm beige head that disappears quick enough a leaves just a creamy ring around the bottom. Roasted malt nose with hints of chocolate, but mild, with some dark fruits. The taste is malty with the roasted malts showing lightly in the finish. A nice imperial porter with the chocolate being a bit too mild. Wish it was a little more powerful.

A great gift from my friend Andre for my birthday, a growler from the brewery and my first experience from these guys. Pours a rich clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, great retention and lots of dirty lacing. Apple aromas with some mild sweetness. The honey notes are more apparent in the taste with some caramel and a decent grainy malt finish. Goes down smoothly. An easy drinking Honey Brown which is a step above the Sleeman’s version.

Really quite decent. Pours patch black with nice mocha head and great lacing. Roasty aroma with nutty flavours and a small bite of dark chocolate. Finishes bitter. Thick palate. Tap at Black Tomato.

This definitely tastes more like an amber lager or Vienna than an ale. Some very mild malt here and not much else. Purse clear red without head or lacing. Finishes with light sourness and some sweetness. Tap at Black Tomato.

A murky amber ipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth biscuit malt with grassy hops and light fruity notes. In mouth, a nice grainy malt with herbal notes, almost Belgian ipa territory, light wildness.

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nutty caramel with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a sweet veggie malt with mineral notes, a tad boring.
