(Can) Pours hazy amber with big white head. Good aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste is driven by hoppy bitterness. There’s some caramel malt lurking in the background in the mid-palate. Nice hoppy IPA.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber with big fluffy white head. Pleasant aroma of apricots with notes of tea and hint of pine. Light body with plenty of soft carbonation. Pleasant and unusual taste. It’s apricot and a hint of tea up front and then the hoppy bitterness steadily takes over for a good bitter finish. Little sweetness but hints of caramel malt. Unusual and enjoyable.

Dull and flat-looking, this certainly doesn't present itself well. There's certainly a bit of saltiness, wheatiness, and guava. The other fruits, maybe not as obvious. Overall the fruit character is muted. The malt is muddled and that's really too bad, because it really detracts from the beer. So the malt base misses and that undermines most everything else, but the miss is likely at least partly due to the fermentation, which doesn't taste off but sure looks off.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 2023-08-10, 3 months old
Cloudy blond colour, medium head. The aroma is fruity, delicate. The mouthfeel is weak, it doesn't have the creaminess of other Hazies, also not the chalk (fortunately), hint of fruits, and low bitterness; the finish is dry, with just a touch of starch.
Mediocre.

A hazed yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light grapefruit, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous herbaceous hops, grapefruit pulp, light rye, OK. On tap at brewery.
