Well thank you Baby Jesus for finally finding a beer in Halifax that hads any kind of fruit in it, that doesn't have a bright pink or purple colour to it. Of course the problem may be that they didn't actually use any strawberry or rhubarb in this. It's just thin on the palate. Not much fruit, a mild sweetness in the aftertaste and no rhubarb bite, the malt is thin. Not sweet. Just really underwhelmed with this.

Bottle - Light hay and nice lemon. Clear gold with a decent white head. Hay and some funk with some light spice. Solid saison.

Aroma has fruity yeast and some urinal cake and mild grapefruit. Flavour has grapefruit, fruity yeast, bretta tones and some citrus fruits. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Quite typical farmhouse saison.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orangée sale trouble, mousse blanche onctueuse. Arôme de pamplemousse, malt, floral, levure. Goût de levure, malt, houblon fruité, agrumes, amertume moyenne. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Bottle: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet wheat malt notes with some light dry floral hops notes. Taste is a mix of floral hops notes with some sweet wheat malt. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Missing some attenuation and balance but still very solid white IPA.
