(On tap @ the brewpub, Quebec City, Nov 12/21) Pours opaque medium yellow with a thick white head. Notes of grapefruit, pale melons, lemon, slightly spicy herbs and grass, soft wheaty cereals, lightly sweet and moderately bitter with citrus oil and grass in the finish, slightly powdery vibe to the aftertaste. Relatively light and muted overall but well-balanced. Light body, oily to creamy with soft carbonation. Solid stuff if a bit less than punchy, very drinkable.

(On tap @ the brewpub, Quebec City, Nov 12/21) Pours nearly clear deep red with a small pinkish head and a little lace. Notes of fresh-pressed cassis with a fair amount of astringency, peppery herbs, above moderate cirusy lactic acid, phenolics, dusty yeast with a bit of a mineral profile, tangy into the finish but with an herbal/phenolic and tannic grip for drydown. Rather light overall in flavour and aroma. Light body, rather watery, fairly softly carbonated. Okay but not really showing the best of cassis.

(On tap @ the brewpub, Quebec City, Nov 12/21) Pours quite hazy orange-gold with a decent white head and some lace. Notes of roundly fruity ester-driven banana/oranges, nice full but still crisp wheat malt, labrador tea providing a nice herbal, berry-inflected leafy/grassy note with only light astringency, bit of a forest vibe overall, lightly sweet but drying into the finish with moderate bitterness from the labrador tea in the finish mixing with citrus and soft esters. Light to medium-bodied, smooth carbonation, nice drinkable mouthfeel. A fun beer thanks to the well-integrated labrador tea despite my expectations that it would be a bad pairing with expressive hefe yeast. The best of my beers at the pub.
