7e Noordelijk SpeciaalBierfestival, Groningen, van tap, de herfstbok, inmiddels is de temperatuur in het Heerenhuis al tot gigantische temperaturen gestegen en kom ik de tapruimte alleen nog maar binnen om een schoon glas te scoren en een bier te halen om vervolgens voorin het cafe plaats te nemen bij aangename temperaturen. de bok is caramel bruinig getapt met aardige kaki kraag. aroma van mouten, caramel en wat donker fruit zoals rozijn ook duidelijk merkbaar. smaken caramel, moutug, zachte gladde (smooth) van textuur, matig body, zwak bitter, matig zoet, beperkt fruitig, gist. gaat

330ml bottle. Cloudy chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Malty, fruity, and yeasty spicy aroma, a touch of ammonia, hints of raisin, plum. fig. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, hints of raisin, plum, fig, some milk chocolate, minimally alcoholic finish; full body, oily texture, smooth and silky palate.

33cl Bottle at Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of mild spices like coriander, a whiff of cardamom, some alcohol, light fruity, malty. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light spicy, light floral, fruity, some alcohol, yeast, nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. I like it.

Bottled (backlog). Reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, sugar, syrup, some smoked wet wood as well as some toffeeish notes. Flavour is smoked wet wood, alcohol, toffee, ripe fruits and some mild spices.

@Lentebierfestival 2014 Leeuwarden, donkeren oranje bier met minimale witte kraag. aroma is zoet, granig, citrus en tarwe, iig een weizen. smaken zijn stevig zoet, lichte citrus, zwak bittertje, fris en iets van sinaasappel. zwakke body, glad van textuur en een goede afdronk.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Sample from bottle at PWBF Gouda 2014. Deep dark brown color. Short beige head. Aroma’s of sugar, red fruit, sweet fruit, subtle hints of smoke. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, dark/roasted malts. Medium bodied. Lingering flavor. More than decent.
